Strategy Analysis

Context

ACAE Paysagiste is a landscaping creation and maintenance company based in Tarn, with a service area covering Toulouse, Montauban, Albi, Gaillac, and Lavaur. The website had existed for 3 and a half years, built with WordPress and Elementor, and offered high-quality content — written by the founder himself, Valentin, without any recourse to AI.

But despite this sincere and well-crafted content, the website was virtually invisible. Only two pages were indexed on Google. No local SEO work had been done: no city pages, no structured data, generic title tags, an outdated WordPress version, no browser cache. Worst of all: the Google Business Profile — which is the number one tool for a local craftsman — was left abandoned, without even a clickable link to the site.

In terms of UX, visitors who managed to reach the site faced a non-clickable phone number on mobile, broken social media links, and no trust signals in the footer. The site existed, but it wasn’t working.

The Request

  • Restore visibility to the website on strategic local queries: “landscaper Toulouse”, “garden designer Albi”, “green space maintenance Gaillac”.
  • Create 30 custom city pages, with unique and optimized content for each targeted municipality.
  • Make the entire website technically compliant: security, performance, structured data.
  • Optimize the Google Business Profile to capture local traffic and generate calls.
  • Correct UX friction points that prevented visitors from taking action.

The Solution

We started with a comprehensive audit of the site — technical SEO, local SEO, Core Web Vitals, content, E-E-A-T — to map all issues and prioritize them. Urgent fixes were handled first: spelling errors in metas, images without alt attributes, double H1 tags on the homepage, and problematic slugs fixed with 301 redirects.

Once the foundations were clean, we deployed structured data across the entire site: LocalBusiness, FAQ, BreadcrumbList, Organization. The site became more readable for Google and richer in search results display.

The 30 city pages were created with unique content for each municipality — no duplicate text, no generic templates. Each page describes the services offered in the relevant city, referencing nearby projects, local structured data, and optimized internal linking. The Google Business Profile was completely revamped: geotagged photos, weekly posts, optimized description, and a functional link to the website.

Finally, performance was optimized: browser caching enabled, image compression, WordPress and plugin updates — Core Web Vitals turned green. On the UX side, the phone number and email are now clickable on mobile, the address and business hours are in the footer, and links to social networks have been repaired.

Results

The website went from 2 indexed pages to more than 30 in a few weeks. The city pages are starting to rank for targeted local queries, and the Google Business Profile is generating incoming calls. Most importantly, ACAE Paysagiste now has a solid, sustainable SEO infrastructure that will continue to yield results over time.
