Carmclean — Showcase website & custom design system

Context

Carmclean is an outdoor cleaning company in Occitanie, specializing in the maintenance of windows, terraces, pergolas, and solar panels. The service area covers Toulouse, Albi, L’Union, and the northern Toulouse area, with a mixed clientele of individuals and professionals.

The existing site was running on Wix: generic template design, total lack of legal pages, catastrophic Core Web Vitals (more than 5 seconds loading on mobile), and no SEO work. Result: one or two incoming requests per month via the web. Prospects preferred calling or going through social networks because the site wasn’t capable of converting. The distinction between individual clients (tax credit, residential cleaning) and professional clients (fleets, co-ownership syndics, social landlords) was non-existent visually.

The Solution

We rebuilt the site from scratch using an Astro + Tailwind architecture, which guarantees excellent native performance and total control over the design. A complete design system was defined — color palette, typography, spacing, components — to ensure perfect visual consistency across all pages.

The “Professionnels” section was designed as a distinct block, with its own visuals, content, and calls to action, specifically targeting the personas defined beforehand: vehicle fleet managers, co-ownership syndics, social landlords. Each service (windows, terraces, pergolas, solar panels) has its dedicated page with unique and optimized content.

On the SEO side, deep work was done: LocalBusiness structured data, FAQ schema, optimized title/meta tags per page, internal linking between service pages and local pages. The client’s unique selling points — pure water technique, 12-meter carbon pole, 50% tax credit, eco-responsible commitment — are highlighted right on the homepage.

Results

Loading time was divided by three, with a mobile Lighthouse score above 90. Service pages are indexed on targeted local queries, and the integrated and optimized quote form generates qualified requests directly in the client’s email inbox. Monthly traffic grew by over 200% compared to the old Wix site. Most importantly, Carmclean now has a real business tool that inspires trust and converts visitors into clients.
